Tag Linking

Connect related entries across keys

What is Tag Linking?

Tag Linking lets you create relationships between entries in different keys. When you generate prompts, the system will prefer entries that share the same tag, ensuring your outputs are contextually coherent.

Example: Cyberpunk Theme

setting:cyberneon-lit megacity
clothing:cybertech jacket, LED visor
lighting:cyberpink neon, holographic

↳ When "neon-lit megacity" is selected, matching clothing and lighting are automatically paired.

How to Add Tags

1

Open the Entries Panel

Click on any token in your template to open the entries drawer.

2

Hover Over an Entry

You'll see a link icon appear on the right side of the entry.

3

Click to Add Tag

Type a tag name or select from existing tags. Press Enter to save.

4

Apply Same Tag to Related Entries

Use the same tag on entries in other keys that should be grouped together.

Best Practices

Use short, descriptive tags

Examples: mha, dbz, cyberpunk, fantasy

Keep tags consistent

Use the same exact tag across all related entries. Tags are case-sensitive.

Don't over-tag

Not every entry needs a tag. Generic entries can remain untagged for flexibility.

Tags vs Logic Rules

Both features help create context-aware prompts, but they work differently:

Pro Tip

You can use both! Tags filter first, then Logic Rules fine-tune the selection for maximum control.
