Master the Art of Prompt Engineering
PromptAnvil is a powerful visual editor for creating complex, structured prompts. Here is how to turn your ideas into production-ready prompts.
1. Categories & Descriptors
Organize your prompt elements into categories (e.g., "Lighting", "Camera", "Style"). Fill them with descriptors to build your vocabulary.
2. Weighted Randomness
Not all descriptors are created equal. Use sliders to adjust the probability of each item appearing in your generated prompts.
3. Logic & Rules
Create smart dependencies. "If 'Cyberpunk' style is selected, ALWAYS add 'Neon Lights' but NEVER add 'Rustic'."
Define Your Toolkit & Template
Start by defining the components of your idea in the Categories panel. Fill each Category (like habitats or camera_equipment) with the specific terms (Entries) you want to include in your prompts.
Then, structure your output using the Prompt Template editor. Place the Categories (like {lighting_conditions}) into the template where they should appear in the final prompt.
Refine Probabilities & Logic
Head to the Settings tab to control how often each Category appears or to adjust Template weights. Then, use the Logic tab to create smart rules that govern relationships between elements.
- Set "Lighting" to 50% to only include it in half the prompts.
- Create a rule: "If {Style} is 'Cyberpunk', ALWAYS add 'Neon Lights'".
Generate & Export
Click the Generate button to create a batch of unique prompts based on your configuration. Review them, copy the ones you like, or export the entire batch to JSON/TXT for use in other tools.
